Strategic Planning Associate
The experienced level Strategic Planning Associate participates with senior managers and executives to establish strategic plans based on company goals and objectives. He/she is responsible for conducting high level quantitative analysis to help drive the strategic planning process while assuring alignment with the broader organization’s strategy and vision. This analysis might include mergers and acquisition transactions, financial and divisional due diligence, company analysis, valuation analysis, pro forma merger analysis, and Net Present Value analysis. The strategic planning associate is required to present his/her acquisition ideas to senior management. These presentations might include significant interaction with the CFO and CEO, Corporate and Business Development, Legal, and Finance departments as well as outside financial advisors. MBA candidates or recent graduates with 2 or more years of relevant experience in jobs such as investment banking, strategy consulting, or corporate development are highly preferred. |
